MTN announces permanent SuperFlex offering with exclusive R199 first-month promotion
SuperFlex, MTN’s online SIM-only offering that gives customers unlimited local voice calls and SMSs, plus the flexibility to choose how much data they want, now offers customers greater flexibility and enhanced features to ensure user-centric experiences.
Starting from only R299 per month, SuperFlex requires no paperwork, no contracts, and no credit checks. Customers can pay monthly, change their plan as their needs change, and cancel anytime – all on the MTN App.
SuperFlex was initially launched as a promotional offer. However, due to the overwhelmingly positive response from customers who value the flexibility it provides, MTN has decided to make SuperFlex a permanent offering as of 1st November 2024. This decision underscores MTN's commitment to adapting to customer needs and enhancing their mobile experience.
To celebrate this milestone, MTN is launching an exclusive promotion, new customers who sign up for the 10GB MTN SuperFlex plan get a R100 discount on their first month, bringing the initial subscription down to R199. From the second month, the plan returns to R299. This promotion is available until 31 December 2024, giving even more customers the chance to experience the freedom and flexibility of MTN SuperFlex.
Continuing to build on this revolutionary approach to mobile connectivity, customers joining SuperFlex can now do so with an eSIM, and for customers in need of a new smartphone the newly launched budget payment facility allows customers to spread the cost of their purchase over a longer time. With the newly launched eSIM solution, there is no need for a physical SIM card to be delivered to the customer. New customers can now use their SuperFlex benefits within minutes by opting for an eSIM and using the self-RICA functionality on the MTN App.
eSIM technology also enables customers to have more than one cell phone number on the same phone making it very convenient to manage multiple profiles (such as private and business) usage separately. Customers can check their device compatibility, by simply dialling *#06#, find the EID number that indicates that a device is eSim compatible.
These enhancements come as a direct response to extensive research into consumer behaviour and feedback from customers, underscoring MTN's commitment to being a responsive and customer-centric service provider.

Customers can join using an existing MTN prepaid number or receive a new MTN number while non-MTN customers can port to the MTN network and enjoy the benefits of SuperFlex.
When signing up to MTN Superflex, customers also receive a 6-month Disney+ mobile subscription on MTN.
