What is the partnerships framework?
The MTN Business Partnerships framework is rooted in three tiers:
Foundation These are small companies or new partners establishing their foothold in the programme. We start by exposing partners to increasingly challenging opportunities. As mutual trust, capabilities and track records grow, partners in this tier will move through the tiers. Foundation partners have many opportunities to showcase their skills. Qualifying Foundation partners also have access to our incubation partners, such as the Innovation Hub and the MTN Supplier Development programme.
Premier This tier has the most diverse array of partners. Partners at this level are given access to our extended joint-marketing toolkit and a broader array of more strategic opportunities. Premier partners collaborating with MTN Business can build solutions and jointly take them to market leveraging multiple routes to market.
Elite We engage on large projects, such as tenders, as well as establish and roll out brand-new technologies. This tier has a large number of key strategic partners: value-added resellers, WASPs and other traditional wholesale clients. Clients at this level engage in joint business planning and form part of the MTN Business product roadmaps.
